Meredith Hayes, I just have to say how happy I am for you. For somebody I never see and never get to talk to...and for somebody with whom I share an odd age difference (I suppose we could have a sibling-age gap)...and for somebody with whom I shared only a brief (though thoroughly enjoyable and duly impressionable) time on her roadtrip through life...seeing you happy always makes me happy. I just adore you. I hope you are soaking in and enjoying every moment. And if you're exhausted and stressed and at your wit's end...then I hope Jeff is there with ice cream and a proper playlist to make everything better. I know he would do that for you. Hopefully, Jude doesn't feel this way about bathing when he becomes a teenager.
Once Jude dried out, he enjoyed a relaxing post-bath nap, sporting the new Mo-Hawk the cockney-speaking nurse gave him.
